Suzanne Ferera

Hi, I’m Suzanne

I am an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience in mental health, and a certified Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems.

Today, my work focuses on helping adults, teens and children process emotional issues using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) — a powerful, evidence-informed mind-body approach that can create lasting change.

My background in community mental health deeply informs the way I work. I am also a mother of three, and my own journey through postnatal anxiety shaped my understanding of how profoundly emotions live in the body.

Healing is not about “coping better.”

It’s about gently resolving what’s underneath — so you can move forward in your life with greater clarity, confidence, and ease.

I look forward to working with you.

What People Are Saying

"We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and learn from Suzanne. Her kind, gentle and proactive approach to parenting has enabled us to be the parents we want to be while supporting our children's emotional and developmental phases. Her teachings have given us a landing ground to turn to when feeling challenged and a platform to grow as parents and a family. Thank you so much Suzanne for all your wisdom and guidance."

Having an ADHD son led to a point where he didn’t care and started to adopt the role of a “trouble maker “especially at school. When he was 10 years old, we couldn’t take his “oppositional behaviour” anymore. Trying different therapists and approaches nothing worked. When Suzanne introduced us to descriptive praise, it worked on the first day we tried using it.The strategies required a lot of personal adjustment and Suzanne was there to help us re-phrase sentences and change our attitude. The most important part was the “personal” homework Suzanne gave us in order to help us change, so we could begin to work on getting a more positive relationship with our son. It still works, and we are grateful for the change she helped us make in our life.”
